One of the nice things about the extremely cold weather we’ve been experiencing is that’s Niagara’s winter scenery is now breathtaking and the best it’s been in years. The cold wind combined with the spray from the falls has created exquisite works of art, which seem to differ day by day.
William Barham in 1870 described a cold winter at Niagara this way, “in winter it is inimitable and indescribably beautiful. It is a sight of which is worth a journey of thousands of miles.”
It’s still the same in 2011.
Bundle up with lots of layered clothing and head to the falls with your camera to capture some magnificent winter photography. You won’t be disappointed.
