Brides get free admission to Niagara Falls attractions

If you’re planning a Niagara Falls, Canada Honeymoon here’s something that not only will give you a great memento of your honeymoon but save you money at the same time.

Niagara Falls Tourism each year hands out free Honeymoon Certificates with Niagara Falls Mayor Ted Salci’s signature that testifies to the fact that you were at Niagara Falls on your honeymoon.

Once you have the certificate it allows the bride free admission to many of Niagara Falls attractions. Sorry, those practicing for their honeymoons are not issued certificates!

how do u get the honeymoon certificate? sight isnt very specific?

To get the certificate you have to be in Niagara Falls. When you are you and your partners have to go to the Niagara Falls Tourism Centre located next door to the Skylon and register. You can also obtain the certificate by going to the Ontario Travel Information Centre on Stanley Ave in Niagara Falls Canada. You cannot get the certificate in advance. Hope this helps. G.

Hello, we are taking our honeymoon this weekend, 6/18/10-6/20/10. We have been married since 11/17/07, but life got in the way, and we are taking a honeymoon now while we have the chance! How do I obtain a certificate from the mayor? pretty excited about our trip! Susan and Jack

Susan, When you arrive in Niagara Falls make your way to the Niagara Falls Tourism Office on Robinson Street,near the Skylon Tower. You can get a cerificate there. You can also obtain a certificate at the Ontario Travel Information Centre at the corner of Stanley Ave and Highway 420 in Niagara Falls.

I am trying to reserch our honeymoon vist 50 years ago this month. Our there any records of our registration on Sept. 26, 1960. Can you help us.

How about a honeymoon 40 years late? Will be in Niagara Falls for the first time on Sept. 26th, Our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Does that count for a honeymoon certificate or something more?

We are getting married in Niagara Falls this coming May. Regarding the free honeymoon certif. Does anyone know which attractions the bride can get into for free? Is there a catch....?

Breanne, There are absolutely No tricks. There are about 20 attractions that honour the certificate when you show up at their attraction. You do have to purchase one ticket to the get the second one free.The certificate is available at the N.F. tourism office at 5200 Robinson Street Niagara Falls or at the Ontari Canada Tourism office on Stanley Ave. in Niagara Falls

Greetings George, My husband and I will arrive in Niagara Falls, Ontario on September 12th to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We are driving from Southern Maryland. We would like to start out on September 11 so that we will not have to travel the entire day of Sept. 12th. Where would you say, is a half-way point to sleepover on September 11th? Thanks!!

Sharon, Sorry, I don't have a Southern Maryland map.Since you have computer Google `Map Search` for your area and Niagara Falls. You should get your answer from there.
